Dr Syed Azhar Ansar assumed the charge of Director Public Instructions Punjab Colleges .
Earlier he performed his duties as Vice Principal in Government College Shalimar.
Meanwhile a delegation of Government Islamia College Civil Lines led by Dr Kashif Faraz Ahmed called on newly appointed DPI Dr. Syed Ansr Azhar at his office in Lahore today.
Professor Syed Mohsin Raza Bukhari, Prof Syed Azhar Hussain, Prof Dr Jamal Shah and Assistant Director Higher Education Department Shujaat Dogar also present on the occasion.
The delegation felicitated him on assuming the charge of DPI Punjab and presented him bouquet.
Talking to the delegation, the DPI Punjab Dr. Syed Ansar Azhar said that provision of quality education is the prime objective of DPI.
He also assured the delegation for resolution of problems of professors community. He said promotion case will be taken up on priority basis.
DPI Punjab Syed Ansar Azhar said that all-out resources will be utilized for promotion of circular and extra curricular activities in public colleges.
