Punjab Chief Minister Chudhary Pervaiz Elahi says 513 new hybrid buses will run in provincial metropolis.
He stated this while chairing the 20th meeting of Punjab Mass Transit Authority in Lahore today.
The meeting also gave approval of auction policy of Punjab Mass Transit Authority.
The Chief Minister also gave approval for the procurement of 300 hundred hybrid buses in first phase. He said 200 new bus stop will be constructed to facilitate people. He said Punjab Mass Transit Authority will run new buses through private operators. He also gave approval for construction of new offices of Punjab Mass Transit Authority at Dera Gujaran.
