On the special instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Political Assistant Chief Minister Punjab for Human Rights Robinson Aziz Francis paid a surprise visit to Gujarat Jail and reviewed the basic facilities provided to the prisoners. He inspected different parts of the Jail along with Superintendent Jail Ghulam Sarwar Langriyal. Robinson Aziz reviewed the arrangements of cleanliness and kitchen in the jail. He also inspected the medical facilities provided to the prisoners in the jail along with the medicines. Robinson Aziz also met the relatives of prisoners and inquired about the obstacles faced by them. Robinson Aziz instructed the jail administration to take special care of the prisoners of the jail, they are serving their sentence but if they are treated with good manners, they will definitely become good citizens after completing their sentence. On this occasion, Robinson Aziz said that the violation of the fundamental rights of any citizen cannot be accepted in any way. Such visits will continue.in the future also to protect human rights. Jail Superintendent Gujarat, Director Human Rights Muhammad Yusuf, Assistant Director Mian Umar Hayat and other relevant persons were present on this occasion.
