Pakistan Railways has decided to restore passenger trains till Karachi in phase wise from this Sunday.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique through video link from the Ministry of Railways.
The meeting decided that Rehman Baba Express and Khyber Mail Express that already restored till Rohri will enroute till Karachi from this Sunday.
The meeting decided to restore Karakoram Express, Karachi Express and Pak Business Express from 5th October.
It was decided that average duration of the trains running between Lahore to Karachi will fix twenty-two hours and these trains will run with additional coaches.
The meeting decided that travel distance will be reviewed after one month and will reduce gradually.
