Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Ehsan ur Rehman Mazari, has said that Pakistan has always played its role in the promotion of sports.
He said this while addressing a ceremony in connection with the opening ceremony of the 22nd Bridge Federation of Asia and Middle East Championship in Lahore today.
The Minister welcomed all the teams to Pakistan and said the Championship was made possible by the participation of all the teams.
The teams from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates are participating in the championship.
The matches will be held in Lahore from today to 13th of this month organized by Pakistan Bridge Federation
Bridge is a trick taking card game using a standard 52 card deck in its basic format, it is played by four players in two competing partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other around a table.
