New Delhi: Hasan Jahan, the wife of Indian cricket team’s fast bowler Mohammad Shami, appealed to the Supreme Court for the arrest of her husband.
According to Indian media, Muhammad Shami’s wife appealed to the Supreme Court against the Calcutta High Court’s decision and requested to cancel the injunction against the arrest warrant.
Muhammad Shami’s wife has accused her husband of demanding dowry and having relations with women.
In the petition, Mohammad Shami’s wife has taken the position that Mohammad Shami is engaged in illicit and sexual activities with women till date during the BCCI tour. The case between the two is ongoing since 2019.
