Karachi: Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Shaikh has said that the excessive increase in gas meter charging is worrisome and it has become very difficult for domestic consumers to pay the gas bill.

He said this in his letter to Federal Minister of State for Petroleum Mossadeq Malik. It will cause economic problems for the person.

The letter demanded that consultation with all stakeholders should be ensured for formulating the gas pricing mechanism in future so as to remove the fear of unfair pricing to alleviate public suffering.
