Public Welfare Projects are priority of incumbent govt: Maryam

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif says every public welfare sector is her priority and assured solutions to public problems.

She stated this during a meeting with MNA Shizra Mansab and former MNA Chaudhry Abid Raza Kotla in Lahore today.

Development affairs of Nankana Sahib and Gujrat were discussed during the meeting.

During the meeting, PML-N leaders apprised her of public welfare projects in Nankana Sahib and Gujrat. They also commended the Chief Minister’s efforts to provide relief to people from inflation.

Speaking on this occasion, the Punjab Chief Minister said the government will ensure the resolution of public issues at all costs.

She said that solving problems and promoting development is the right of the public, not a favor.

She informed that solid waste management and landfill sites will be established across the province. She also said that 2,500 basic health centers and 300 rural health centers are being revamped across the province.

Additionally, modern cardiology and pediatrics units will be established in district hospitals.Maryam Nawaz said the government will ensure the provision of excellent treatment facilities in every district so that no one needs to travel to another city for treatment.

Special Assistant Zeeshan Malik was also present during the meeting.
