PIA Hajj operation 2023 commenced from Sialkot International Airport today 22 May.
PIA Spokesman said that PIA’s First Pre Hajj flight PK 747 carrying 326 intending pilgrims departed for Madinah Munawara. Simple ceremony was held at airport to greet the Intending pilgrims, by PIA and Sialkot Airport Administration.
The intending pilgrims were seen off by Chairman Sialkot Airport Khawaja Masood Akhter, Mr. Arshad Javed Warriach and Syed Zulqarnain Mehdi GM PIA and other senior officials of PIA and ASF. The Intending pilgrims were requested to pray for Pakistan during their holy journey. The PIA Pre Hajj operation of carrying intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia will continue till 22 June 2023.
The National Flag Carrier will transport more than 65,000 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through more than 320 Hajj and regular scheduled flights.PIA will operate flights from Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Peshawar Quetta, Sukkur, Rahim Yar Khan and Faisalabad.
