Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Dr Umar Saif and caretaker Federal Minister for Human Rights Khalil George called on Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman in Lahore today.
Promotion of Information Technology and betterment of minorities were discussed during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman said that youth are our asset of the country and it is necessary to impart education of information technology to them as per modern needs.
He also lauded the working of the caretaker government in the field of information and Technology. He said that goverment will take benefit from the experience of Dr Umar Saif.He said that positive results are witnessed after functional of e Rozgar Center in the universities.
He said that minorities enjoying equal rights in the country and the government stands with minorities in Jaranwala incident and restored the Churches timely.
On this occasion , the federal caretaker Minister Khalil George apprised the Punjab Governor about welfare work for minorities.
