Caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Aneeq Ahmad says Islam is a religion of peace and provide security to all minitories.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore today, he said that there is dire need of inter-religious harmony in this era. He said many issues can be resolved through inter-religious harmony.
He said that we have to promote inter-faith harmony
as the enemies are busy in hatching conspiracies to create division among us. He said that interfaith harmony is a must for peace in the country.
He said that desecration of the Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) is unacceptable and intolerable.
He said that Ulemas are our pride that serves the society selflessly and teaches the society.
Aneeq Ahmed said that he is visiting all seminaries and we have to be united against violent elements.
He said that there is a need to review the Hajj policy.
He said that the Pakistan Army rendered selfless services for peace in the country.
On this occasion, Allama Ragib Naeemi said peace is vital for progress and development in the country.
