The oath taking ceremony of the General Council of Pakistan Chamber of Education was held in a local hotel in Lahore on Tuesday.
Provincial Minister of Livestock, Transport and Mines and Minerals Ibrahim Hasan Murad specially participated in the ceremony.
Chairman Pakistan Chamber of Education Ali Raza, President Pakistan Chamber of Education Bashir Ahmed Hattar, President Lahore Chamber of Commerce Sheikh Kashif and members of various divisions also participated in the ceremony.
Chairman Pakistan Chamber of Education Ali Raza welcomed the guests and expressed his thoughts about education and its importance. Provincial Minister Ibrahim Hasan Murad administered the oath to the members of the Executive Council and congratulated and expressed best wishes for the future.
Addressing the ceremony on this occasion, Provincial Minister Ibrahim Hasan Murad said that he welcomes the school leaders from all over Punjab to Lahore.
He hoped that the new members will serve the education sector sincerely. Ibrahim Hasan Murad said that the new members will definitely maintain the atmosphere of trust in the private and public sector.
He emphasized that we all have to discourage the Rata system, but the responsibility of the new generation is now on the teachers to enlighten them with education and also to make them a good citizen.
The provincial minister further said that if the private sector is removed from the education system, there will be a crisis, while it is a fact that only the education sector can change the destiny of Pakistan.
We have to bring positive changes with time as now is the era of artificial intelligence which will play a significant role in evaluating the quality of students.
He said Unfortunately, in the past governments, the education sector was neglected and this sector could not be included in anyone’s priorities, but during the Corona, the role of the Chamber of Commerce in the implementation of the national curriculum has been commendable, while Nazra Quran and Translation of the Quran, the chamber also played an indelible role.
He also praised the performance of Chairman Ali Raza, President Bashir Ahmed Hattar and the entire team for education sector.
