Advisor to the Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs Qamar Zaman Kaira says the government believes in continuity of democracy.
Talking to media in Lahore today, he said no anybody will be allowed to derail the democracy.
He said the coalition parties will stop every kind of unconstitutional and undemocratic step in the best interest of the country.
He said Imran Khan used the Punjab government as a tool to undermine the democracy.
Qamar Zaman Kaira said Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi resorted to the excuses instead taking the vote of confidence.
Speaking on the occasion, PPP Leader Syed Hassan Murtaza said Imran Khan damaged the country’s economy for the sake of his vested interests.
On his part, Pakistan People’s Party leader Nasir Hussain Shah said PTI did not fulfill its promises made with the general public.
He said PTI believes in the politics of allegations.
PPP leader Hassan Murtaza said PTI Chief has vested interest and he wants presidential system. He said PPP believes in democracy despite autocracy.
