Maria B Ocean Dyeing on Multan Road was sealed for non-remediation of smoke while Friends Thermopur Multan Road was also sealed for smoke emission.
Environment Department on the instructions of Judicial Water and Environment Commission and DG Environment Punjab, The anti-smog squads of Environment Lahore under the leadership of Assistant Director Ali Ijaz conducted anti-smog operations and inspected various factories on Multan Road, while two factories were closed due to smoke emission and violation of smog rules.
On this occasion, Assistant Director Ali Ijaz said that factory owners who cause pollution will not be allowed to play with the health of the public and will take legal action against such factories.
