Delegation of Junior Diplomatic Course calls on Punjab Governor in Lahore

The delegation of Junior Diplomatic Course from different countries led by Director Programme Foreign Service Irfan Shoukat met Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman at Governor House in Lahore today.

Speaking on occasion, Governor said Pakistan faced a catastrophic flood due to heavy rain in the recent past. He said rehabilitation of flood affectees is the biggest challenge being faced by the country. He said that the government is taking all out measures for rehabilitation of flood affectees. He said the role of Pakistan in elimination of carbon is less than 01 percent but the country faced a catastrophic flood due to climate change.

The Governor stressed the need for exchange of delegations for promotion in various sectors.
