WHAT: Media Day – LUTON DART

You are invited to a Media Preview Day on Monday 13 March to experience the Luton DART and interview those involved in its development and construction. This is an opportunity for media to travel on the DART before it opens fully to passengers.
The Luton DART (Direct Air-Rail Transit) will transport passengers from Luton Airport Parkway station to the terminal of London Luton Airport in under four minutes.
This new airport transfer also delivers faster rail connections for 60+ locations across the Thameslink and East Midlands Railway network, including Brighton right through to Corby. For example, passengers travelling from London St Pancras to the LLA terminal, can do so in as little as 32 minutes.
You will be able to travel on the DART and interview leaders from Luton Council and Luton Rising as well as technical experts who can answer your questions. You will also be able to film the DART in operation.
Please come to the Hampton by Hilton Hotel, 42-50 Kimpton Road, Luton, LU2 0NB for registration at 9.30am before walking the short distance to the Luton Parkway DART station.
Car parking is available at the hotel, attendees will need to obtain a parking card from the hotel car park on arrival. Tea and coffee will be provided in the conference room
