CIA chief says he’s still hopeful of Gaza ceasefire deal

US Focal Insight Organization (CIA) Chief William Consumes said on Tuesday there was “still a chance” of a Gaza truce bargain, albeit many muddled issues remain.

Consumes told a Place of Delegates hearing, “I believe there’s as yet the chance of such an arrangement. Furthermore, as I said, it will not be for absence of taking a stab at our part, working intimately with our Israeli, Qatari, and Egyptian partners. This is an extremely intense interaction. I don’t figure anybody can ensure a positive outcome. The main thing I figure you can ensure is that the options are more regrettable.”

Consumes’ assertion came hours after middle person Qatar said Israel and Hamas were not near an arrangement on a suspension of threats in Gaza and delivering prisoners. Qatar cautioned the circumstance remained “extremely muddled”.
