Hertfordshire is set to be struck by sleet and some snow late next week, it has been revealed. Snow is forecast for areas across our county next Tuesday (March 1) and Wednesday (March 2), according to BBC Weather.

Chilly conditions will be coming after Herts has experienced mild conditions after Christmas. However, Hertfordshire did not experience a white Christmas, which is defined as a single snowflake falling anywhere in the UK on Christmas Day.

The forecasters at BBC Weather have stated the weather will turn chilly next week, which may come as a disruption to Hertfordshire residents. Conditions next week are set to be close to around 0C in the early hours of the morning and late hours of the evening on both days.

With news of snow potentially coming to Herts, residents should wrap up warm next week in preparation for the chilly weather. BBC Weather stated towns and villages across Herts could experience ‘light snow and a gentle breeze’ on both days.
