Test Championship, fines for Indian and Australian teams

London: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed heavy fines on the Indian and Australian cricket teams for the slow over rate in the final of the World Test Championship.

The ICC has said that the Indian team has been fined the full match fee, now no Indian player will get the match fee, while the Australian team has been fined 80% of the match fee for the slow over rate.

The Indian team reduced 5 overs while the Australian team reduced 4 overs in the stipulated time. According to ICC Law 2.22, every player is fined for slow over rate. goes
