Mumbai: In Asia Cup 2023, India agreed to recognize Pakistan’s hybrid model.
According to sources, the Indian Cricket Board will conditionally accept the hybrid model.
In which India has stipulated that Pakistan has to give a written assurance to participate in the World Cup.
BCCI will make an official announcement in this regard after the May 27 meeting.
Under the hybrid model, India will play the Asia Cup at a neutral venue and the neutral venue could be the UAE or Sri Lanka.
According to sources, the Asian Cricket Council will announce the schedule of the Asia Cup after India’s decision.
The ICC World Cup is to be played in India this year, but before that, the Asia Cup will be hosted by Pakistan.
