Noted poet and playwright Amjad Islam Amjad passed away in Lahore on Friday at the age of 78 due to cardiac arrest.Senior journalist Mubasher Lucman said that he was a great friend and was last at his home sometime back when he had returned from an overseas trip.Senior journalist Mubasher Lucman said Amjad Islam Amjad was very excited to gave his his latest book to him.
