Federal Minister for Aviation and Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique says rumours for selling of national assets should be stopped and there is no any suggestion is underconsderation for selling Roosevelt Hotel and PIA.
Addressing a news conference in Lahore today, he said that current year revenue target of PIA is 138 billion rupees while we will trying to achieve 155 or 160 billion rupees revenue target.
He said we got record revenue in this quarter. He said PIA’s fares ares less than Chinese Airlines. He said that we are trying our best for taking permission of direct flight to China.He said economic stability and continuing of policies will make the nation institutions profitable.
He said that we are trying to reduce the fare of China’s flight to one hundred thousand.
He said we are doing our best for restoration of flights Pakistan and UK.
He said that PIA and Turkish Airline signed an agreement through which passengers will reach Istanbul through PIA and Turkish Airline will facilitate the passengers to other countries of the world.
He said twenty-four airplanes are included in the fleet of PIA till the end of this month
He said 275,000 hajj pilgrims have been facilitated during Hajj operation.
