In Punjab province, the Returning Officer Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab Ijaz Anwar Chohan has issued a public notice for the election of 12 Senate seats.
According to the details, in Punjab province, elections will be held for 7 general seats, 2 women seats, 1 technocrats and 1 ulema seats and 1 non-Muslim seat.
Candidates can submit their nomination papers at the office of the Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab Lahore on tomorrow and day after tomorrow.
Scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed by March 19. Appeals against the acceptance or rejection of nomination papers can be filed until March 21. Decisions on appeals will be issued by the tribunal by March 25
Polling will be held at the Punjab Assembly Hall in Lahore from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the 2nd of next month
