PROVINCIAL MINISTER BILAL YASIN RAIDED EXAMINATION CENTERS IN LHR

Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin visited various examination centers of Lahore on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif here on Monday. Bilal Yasin suspended 2 superintendents and dismissed 6 invigilators for violating the rules in the examination centers.

Bilal Yasin said that polio workers and private people were appointed invigilators in the examination centers which is against the law. The provincial minister issued orders to the CEO Education to conduct a transparent inquiry into the alleged bribery while solving MCQs. According to the details, Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin paid a surprise visit to various examination centers of Lahore on Monday on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Bilal Yasin visited Government Central Model School Lower Mall, Government Central Model School Rattigan Road and Government Girls High School Dev-samaj Lahore. On this occasion, the provincial minister saw 5 private women acting as invigilators in the Government Girls High School Dev-samaj, on which he severely reprimanded and suspended the superintendent Kulsoom Khatun, while the five private invigilators Asma Batul, Kulsoom Akhtar, Umaira Liaqat, Shamim Akhtar and Yasmeen Zahra were dismissed.

The provincial minister also issued a show-cause notice to the Principal Government Girls High School Dev-Samaj Naila Mumtaz for neglecting her duties. Later, Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin visited the examination center of Government Central Model School Lower-Mall where he suspended Superintendent Shahzada Usman for appointing a Polio worker as invigilator. The provincial minister also expressed displeasure with CEO Education Pervaiz Akhtar for poor supervision and neglect of duties and issued instructions that the administration should ensure concrete measures to prevent cheating in all examination centers. Bilal Yasin said that he will not allow to play with the future of the nation. He said that 100% merit should be ensured in the examination process and that any action contrary to the rules will not be tolerated across Punjab.
