PM invites King Charles to visit Pakistan

LONDON: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with King Charles III during which congratulated the King on his coronation.

According to Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, PM Shehbaz met King Charles during which he also invited him to visit Pakistan.

In a meeting before the coronation ceremony, King Charles recalled his previous visit to Pakistan in a conversation with the prime minister.

On this occasion, the prime minister said that the coronation of King Charles is the beginning of a new era. “There is a need to increase coordination among the commonwealth countries so that the dream of common development can be fulfilled,” he asserted.

Apart from this, the prime minister also attended the Commonwealth Leaders event, while he also met British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

It should be noted that King Charles will officially take over the throne today. PM Shehbaz Sharif is also among the guests.
