Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with Red Crescent Society Pakistan has organized a two-day blood donation drive to help children suffering from Thalassemia.
The PITB staff generously donated blood in the camp. During the medical checkup camp, the blood donors were tested for free.
The Blood Donation Drive is one of PITB’s regular activities that has received an overwhelming response in the past. Donating blood is one of the easiest ways to help save lives and one bag of donated blood can save up to three lives.
At the end of the two-day camp, Red Crescent Society’s Deputy Director Health distributed certificates among the donors. PITB Director HR Ahmed Adeel Sarwar and Senior Program Manager Amina Rab commended the staff for their spirit.
