Punjab Minister for Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid says pilot project of Preventive Cardiology will be set up in Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore.
She stated this while chairing a meeting in Lahore today.
She said Punjab Chief Minister has given approval for establishment of preventive department in Punjab Institute of Cardiology. She said this advance treatment, screening and management of cardiac patients will be done in preventive department. She said research is only viable solution to decrease the number not cardiac patient.
The meeting reviewed measures to increase provision of facilities to cardiac patients.
