Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman says media is playing pivotal role for raising issues of society.
He stated this during a meeting with delegation of students of School of Communication Studies led by its Chairperson Prof. Dr. Noshina Saleem at Governor House in Lahore today.
Talking to them, the Governor said education is base for progress and development of society. He said educated youth are guarantor of bright future of the country.
He said doors of Governor House is always open for study tour for students.Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman also urged teachers to focus on character building of students besides imparting skills.
The Governor said positive journalism and critique is important for promotion of democracy.
