Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Tourism Syed Wasi Ahmad Fatimi says caretaker government is taking all out measures for promotion of tourism in the country.
He stated this while visiting College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) in Lahore today.
He said that economic situation of the country can be stabilized by promoting tourism in the country. He said government is setting up recommendations with private sector for improvement in tourism sector.
He said that, if elections are not held till December then caretaker government will organise an international conference on tourism and experts from the globe will attend this conference.
On this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of COTHM Ahmed Shafique briefed the minister about vision and mission of COTHM.
SAPM on Tourism Syed Wasi Ahmad Fatimi also praised COTHM management efforts for imparting quality education across the country.
He also visited different departments of the college and discussed various aspects of the tourism and hospitality sector with the faculty members and students.
