The delegation of United Nations office on Drugs (UNODC) visited Human Rights department on Friday. Secretary HR&MA Masood Mukhtar along with his team of department welcomed the delegation. Delegation was consist of Ms Silva Randazzo, international child justice expert, UNODC, Headquarter Rizwan u llah,program officer prisons Ms Anam Shabbir, coordinator law and justice commission. A meeting was also held between delegation and Secretary of HR&MA while political assistant to chief minister Punjab Robinson Aziz Francis and Director of HR Muhammad Yusaf was also present on the occasion. During the meeting matters of mutual areas of cooperation were discussed in details while Juveline justice system of Punjab was also analyzed. It was concluded that mutual efforts shall be carried out to strengthen the Juveline justice system in Punjab. The delegation appreciated the the efforts of HR&MA department regarding the protection of human rights and assured their fully cooperation in future. A memorial shield was also presented by the team of HR&MA to the Delegation.
