Appointment challenged of interim CM Punjab by PTI

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has challenged the appointment of Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in ​​the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The petition was filed by lawyer Imtiaz Rasheed Siddiqui on behalf of PTI.
Mohsin Naqvi, Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, Federation, Speaker National Assembly Raja Riaz, Chief Secretary Punjab and KP made parties in the petition.
In the petition filed, it has been requested to prevent the formation of the Punjab Cabinet and the transfer of appointments.
It has been stated in the petition that the Election Commission of Pakistan has failed to fulfill its constitutional responsibility in appointing the caretaker chief minister.
In the petition, it has been further said that the Supreme Court should order the steps for a transparent and fair election and Chief Minister should also be prevented from carrying out matters related to the elections.
