In the mega fraud, 200 companies across the country were found involved in using fake sales tax invoices. According to FBR, in the mega fraud scandal, a fake company named KH & Sons committed a fraud of 314 billion rupees. The most companies in Lahore are involved in the fake sales invoice fraud. The companies involved include 6 companies in Corporate Office Karachi and 69 companies in Lahore. The fraud involves 7 companies of Large Tax Unit Islamabad, 10 of Karachi and 43 of Lahore. FBR has issued notices to all companies involved in fake sales invoices fraud, KH Sons and Mohsin Traders have been blacklisted under the Sales Act. Listed.
