Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the second run-off stage of the presidential elections in Turkey. Erdogan has been elected president of Turkey for five years.

Various leaders around the world congratulated Erdogan on his victory. Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani congratulated and said congratulations to you my brother Erdogan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan on becoming the President of Turkey. According to the unofficial results of 99 percent of the ballot boxes, Erdoğan has an advantage over Kılıçdaroğlu.

Erdogan won more than 52.87 percent of the vote and Kılıçdaroğlu won more than 47.13 percent. The number of voters in Turkey is 6 crore 41 lakh 97 thousand 419.

No candidate could get 50% votes in the May 14 election. On the basis of which, the run-off stage election was conducted again on May 28 between the first two candidates who received the most votes. In the first phase, Erdogan won 49.52 percent and Kalichdar 44.89 percent of the votes. Sinan Oghnan, who received more than five percent of the votes, announced his support for Erdogan in the second phase of the election.

In the last round, Erdogan had a 5 percent lead over Kılıçdaroğlu, and in this round he has a 7 percent lead with 79 percent of the ballot boxes counted.

In the light of these results, the possibility of Klichdar winning has ended and Erdogan has won the election.

A grand celebration was held in Turkey for Erdogan’s election as president for the third term. People came out on the streets and celebrated. Erdogan thanked the voters.

The Turkish elections were held in a peaceful environment. Meanwhile, the turnout was slightly less than the first phase.

Interesting events also happened during the election. In the presidential election, a citizen of Turkey arrived from the hospital on a stretcher to vote.

A video is going viral on social media in which a Turkish citizen can be seen arriving at a polling station to vote on a hospital bed.

After casting the vote, the people present in the polling station encouraged the patient voter by clapping their hands.
