2-day meeting of central banks of SAARC countries will begin today in Islamabad

Islamabad: The two-day meeting of the central banks of the SAARC countries will begin today in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Governor State Bank.

According to sources, governors of central banks of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, Maldives, Bangladesh will participate in the meeting.

The Governor of the Central Bank of India did not confirm the participation. According to the sources, the role of banks to reduce the effects of climate change will be considered in the meeting and the provision of loans to the people is also included in the agenda.
