The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) organized a horror tour of Lahore Fort titled “Fort Fright” in which tourists were entertained with original horror stories and haunted places.
Real stories based on tourist guides’ personal experiences at Lahore Fort were shared with the tourists. Participants enjoyed this unique and exciting experience.
They expressed positive feedback regarding this tour and enjoyed the new look of Lahore Fort with the spice of Horror.
Samina Fazil, Deputy Director Media and Marketing, Walled City of Lahore Authority, said, “We have been dedicating considerable efforts to attract and invite tourists to heritage sites, and this tour is a testament to our ongoing efforts. We planned this activity to not only attract the public to heritage sites but, we also want to secure public’s attention to the “night tourism”. We are very pleased with our successful endeavor as it gave a unique experience to the tourists who expressed their contentment and excitement regarding the event.
With such kind of tours, we not only engage the public at heritage sites but, we also become able to share the stories associated with these historical monuments”.
Kamran Lashari, Director General, Walled City of Lahore Authority, also expressed his opinions on this tour. He said, “Our tours and events are planned to accommodate as many tourists as possible. We strive to keep ticket prices affordable; ensuring people from all segments of society can visit these sites and participate in our events. Additionally, we aim to provide a comprehensive and enriching experience for our visitors, as exemplified by this tour.
