Reference of surplus assets against Dar opened, non-bailable warrant issued for Monis

Islamabad, Lahore: Reference of assets in excess of income against Ishaq Dar has been opened, non-bailable warrants have been issued for Munis Elahi.

After the NAB amendments were repealed, a reference for assets in excess of income was opened against former finance minister Ishaq Dar.

Accountability Court of Islamabad summoned former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on October 10.

Summons were issued to Ishaq Dar on October 10. Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Basheer issued orders.

After the NAB Ordinance, the Accountability Court closed the case against Ishaq Dar. The record of the case against Ishaq Dar was in the accountability court. On the other hand, the accountability court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Mons Elahi in alleged corruption in development projects in Lahore. Issued a non-bailable arrest warrant till October. NAB said in the petition filed in the court that Chairman NAB issued a warrant for Monis Elahi on August 11. Efforts were made to arrest Monis Elahi, but he has concealed himself. Accountability Court Judge Naseem Ahmed Vark heard the NAB’s request. Accused Monis Elahi is accused of corruption of billions of rupees in development projects. Accountability Court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Monis Elahi till October 5 on the request of NAB. NAB said in the petition filed in the court that Chairman NAB issued a warrant for Monis Elahi on August 11. Efforts were made to arrest Monis Elahi, but he has been hiding himself. Accountability Court judge Naseem Ahmed Vark heard the request of NAB. It is being seen from the point of view because such action on the occasion of election can affect the election process.
