Karachi: People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that he will not sit down from China until the date of election is notified. Let the people see who is running away from their accountability.
Bilawal Bhutto, while addressing local government representatives in Karachi, said that the people are in great pain due to unemployment and inflation, the people of Pakistan are in dire need of bread, cloth and houses. It happens, all the local government representatives have complaints that the resources are less, all the local government representatives are sending letters to the Chief Election Commissioner and caretaker CM Sindh, the local government representatives should check themselves who are the good officers, the local government representatives should check where the schemes are. Where is the work in progress and where is it stopped? Our ongoing projects are being stopped. If we are not heard, we will go to court. We know how to take our rights, the people of Pakistan should see who is running away from their accountability.
Bilawal Bhutto said that PPP is the only party which wants immediate election, we will not sit from China until the date of election is notified. He said that the Election Commission will take up the matter with the provincial government on stopping the development schemes. If the matter is not resolved, they know the way to the court.
Bilawal Bhutto criticized Maulana Fazlur Rehman and MQM without naming names and said that the people should recognize such leaders who are running away from the election, people have hopes from the People’s Party. The crisis of division in the society can be solved by the slogan “Na Tera Na Mera Hum Sab Ka Pakistan”.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari instructed the representatives of the local bodies that solving public problems is a priority. The solution to all crises and problems is in the manifesto of the People’s Party. He said that there is politics of division and hatred in the society. The People’s Party wants the election to be held today. Constituencies are done. Now the date of election should be given. China will not sit until the election date is announced.
