Syed Hassan Murtaza criticizes PTI’s Provincial Biases and Anti-State Elements

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Punjab General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza on Friday criticizes PTI’s Provincial Biases and Anti-State Elements.

He was addressing a press conference at Governor House Punjab.Ahshan Rizvi, Raheela Baloch, and Edvin Sahotra were present on the occasion.

Murtaza slammed PTI’s attempts to undermine national security institutions, criticize the Pakistan Army, and hijack foreign policy. He warned that PTI’s provincial biases and violent tactics are threat to national stability.Murtaza criticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) undemocratic behavior and condemned personal attacks on women journalists. He said PPP’s respect women and always promot positive politics.

He congratulated Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, President Asif Zardari, and Faryal Talpur on PPP’s historic victory in NA-171. Murtaza described this win as a triumph over a particular mindset.He praised the Returning Officer and Rahim Yar Khan administration for conducting free and fair elections, which PPP won with a two-thirds majority. Despite adverse circumstances and economic turmoil, PPP remained committed to its ideology and the people.

Hassan Murtaza said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has advocated for a Charter of Parliament, which is essential for all parties. He highlighted PPP’s sacrifices for parliament’s dignity and supremacy. PPP believes in dialogue to resolve issues and supports policy-making through consensus. While responding to a question Hassan Murtaza said party has reorganized its structure in Central Punjab, completing the process in Sergodha, Gujranwala, Lahore Rural, and Sahiwal, with Faisalabad and Lahore Urban to follow soon.Murtaza noted that PPP and PML-N are parties of different ideologies, adding that their alliance aims to address national challenges.

PPP has consistently opposed negative politics and supports democratic values. Murtaza respected Punjab Chief Minister and acknowledged parliament’s authority.Murtaza condemned Ali Amin Gandapur’s provincial biases and disrespect towards women.PPP’s vision, under Bilawal Bhutto’s leadership, can lead the nation forward. Murtaza warned that supporting anti-state elements would have severe consequences.
