KARACHI: Former national cricket team captain Shahid Khan Afridi reached New Nazimabad to review the performance of the young players after the Megastar League season two trials. Jahan Naia Nazimabad Gymkhana President Syed Muhammad Talha and Manager Sports Muhammad Asif welcomed him and presented him with a bouquet.
Shahid Afridi welcomed the sports facilities in Naya Nazimabad. He said that Arif Habib’s services for the promotion of sports in the city of Quaid are outstanding.
New Nazimabad Gymkhana is the best addition to Karachi for healthy activities. They hope that the new manager will soon conduct the domestic season and MSL matches in the gymkhana.
Syed Muhammad Talha said that New Nazimabad is being made as a sports city where many facilities including cricket, football, futsal, basketball, tennis, swimming, squash, badminton, table tennis have been established.

The Karachi Knights team included in the Megastar League season two was selected after the two-day open trials. Thirty players have been selected in the first phase, after which the players will be shortlisted after the practice matches.
