A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order was held in Lahore today chaired by Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique.
The meeting thoroughly reviewed the law and order situation across Punjab including Lahore and the arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi S.A.W.W. celebrations.
During the meeting, the Punjab Home Secretary Noor-ul-Amin Mengal and Punjab IG Dr. Usman Anwar gave a briefing on the law and order situation.
Speaking on this occasion , the Chairman of the Cabinet Committee and Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique said that extensive security arrangements have been made across Punjab for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W.W.)
He said that the Punjab government will serve drinks and sweets to participants in all districts.
He emphasized that the birth of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W.) will be celebrated with complete devotion and respect.
He said that no new innovations will be allowed during the peaceful observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W.W.)
He informed that, in consultation with peace committees across the province, all arrangements have been finalized and comprehensive security measures are in place for all main processions and Milad gatherings.
