The Punjab Judicial Academy has commenced a five-day training program regarding understanding concept of forensic, medico-legal, post mortem, Amrs and Ammunition analysis. The program aims to educate Additional District and Session Judges, Senior Civil Judges and Civil Judges on the latest techniques and best practices in forensic analysis and insight
In his address during the inaugural session, Acting Director General of PJA, Muhammad Hafeez Ullah Khan, emphasized the importance of continuous learning in the field of law. He stated that the Academy’s training programs are designed to ensure that judges stay updated on the latest developments in Civil and Criminal laws.
Mr. Hafeez Ullah Khan highlighted that the current training program covers a range of topics, including forensic analysis, medico-legal practices, post mortem reports, arms and ammunition analysis. He added that experts from various fields have been invited to deliver lectures and lead discussions, ensuring that participants receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience.
He further added that the training program is designed to equip judges with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively handle cases involving forensic evidence. “We believe that continuous learning is essential for judges to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in forensic science and medico-legal practices”, Mr. Hafeez Ullah Khan reiterated. He also emphasized the importance of listening to litigants and creating a conducive environment for them to express themselves. He said that Judges should listen to litigants with patience and empathy and avoid discouraging them. This is essential for ensuring that justice is served in a fair and transparent manner
