Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that the Prime Minister will soon present a plan for economic recovery to the nation.
While addressing a ceremony in Lahore today, he said the government is striving to provide relief to the public in terms of electricity bills.
He emphasized that everyone needs to play their role in resolving the country’s issues. He stated that Pakistan is blessed with all kinds of resources, but we need to identify the reasons why our country has fallen behind other nations.
He pointed out that Pakistanis have proven their abilities in every field globally.He said that PML-N brought hefty investment in the country in shape of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He also criticized the PTI government, claiming that it had pressurized government machinery, which led to government servants being reluctant to make decisions.
Ahsan Iqbal asserted that the PML-N steered the country out of crisis and that there is no threat of bankruptcy.
He stressed that the continuity of policies is vital for economic stability.Ahsan Iqbal said that a positive mindset is essential for the development and prosperity of the country.
He warned that misinformation and polarization hollow out societies and that fake news is one of the biggest challenges today. He said that attempts had been made to mislead the youth through fake news.
He also expressed regret over being kept in Adiala Jail on false and baseless charges.He stressed that the politics of hate and baseless accusations should come to an end. He said that nations can recover from economic challenges but not through division.Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the need for unity in Pakistan today, not division.
He also warned that if dialogue culture stopped, society will be destroyed.
He said that export led growth is only viable solution for country progress and prosperity. He informed that present government is making all-out efforts for the development and prosperity of the country.
