Youm-e-Shuhada is being observed across the country today as ceremonies are being held in various cities including Lahore.
Punjab Chief Minister Chudhary Pervaiz Elahi visited Yadgar-e-Shuhada in Lahore, laid a floral wreath and offered Fatiha.
On this occasion, a smartly turned out contingent of Punjab police presented a guard of honour to the CM.
Raja Bashrat, IGP Faisal Shahkaar, Chief Secretary Punjab Kamran Ali Afzal and other officials were also present on the occasion.
