Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Maqbool Baqir called on Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi at Punjab House in Islamabad today.
Measures for stability in the price of cotton were discussed during the meeting.
It was also decided to contact the federal government regarding stability of cotton prices.Both the chief ministers agreed for giving best remuneration to the cotton crops farmers.
Speaking on the occasion, the caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said he will request to caretaker Prime Minister for procuring the cotton through Trading Corporation of Pakistan.
He requested the farmers not to sell their crop at cheap rates. He said that Punjab and Sindh will also take all-out measures regarding this.
