KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh and police, acting jointly on intelligence information, arrested the accused Muhammad Ismail alias Mini, who was involved in robberies and drug dealing, from Orangi Town area of Karachi.
According to the spokesperson of Rangers, on March 2023, accused Muhammad Ismail alias Mani along with his accomplice was involved in snatching cash and mobile phone from a citizen at gun point in Orangi Town. The CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media in which the accused was seen committing the crime can go.
During the initial investigation, the accused has admitted to looting 200 mobile phones and more than 8 lakh rupees in more than 100 cases of robbery and extortion in Orangi Town, Site Town and surrounding areas.
Raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused, the arrested accused has been handed over to the police for further legal action.
