Lahore: Saqib Nisar, a former chief justice of Pakistan, has recently been at the center of controversies after audio clips of him and his family members surfaced. This time, an alleged audio recording of his son and PTI ticket holders has come to fore.
In the first part of the audio leak, Najam Saqib and PTI ticket-holder Abuzar Chaddhar can be heard talking about tickets while the second part comprises a call recording between Najam and Mian Uzair.
In the leaked audio clip, the person believed to be Saqib Nisar’s son can purportedly be heard discussing the distribution of PTI tickets with party’s candidate from the PP-137 constituency.
Najam Saqib is heard in the clip begging the PTI candidate to see his father and express his gratitude, adding that his father will return by 11:00.
The second video shows a speaker claiming to be Najam asking the other to check his WhatsApp.
When referring to the message, Mian Uzair, who was allegedly on the other end of the queue, said that Abuzar had sent it to you.
Najam said he’s also a lawyer. And asked what’s the scene? To which Uzair said he will take this up.
Earlier, another alleged audio leak featuring former chief justice Saqib Nisar and lawyer Khawaja Tariq Raheem came to the fore. Prior to this, the leaked audio of a phone call between the incumbent top Supreme Court judge’s mother-in-law and Raheem’s wife stirred up a political storm in the country.
