Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique directed concerned officials to ensure immediate refund to passengers of cancelled trains.
He stated this while chairing a meeting at Railways Headquarters in Lahore today.
The meeting decided to issue show cause notice against those officials who are responsible of delay of refund.
Addressing the meeting, the Railways Minister directed to check the railways installations on regular basis and directed to send the report to Railways Ministry office.
The meeting was also briefed about restoration of train operation in flood affected areas.
