Provincial Minister of Energy and Food, Sardar Hasnain Bahadur Dreeshak, came to the office of Punjab Thermal Power Private Limited after taking over the oath of ministry.
The first departmental briefing was given to the provincial minister, Energy Secretary Muhammad Amjad Bhatti and others were also present on the occasion. CEO Punjab Thermal Power Limited Salman Zakaria along with his team while giving a detailed briefing to the provincial minister said that Punjab Thermal Power (Private) Limited (PTPL) is a private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2017. It is wholly owned by the Government of Punjab through Energy Department. The main objective of the Company is to establish and operate a 1263 MW thermal power plant based on RLNG at Haveli Bahadur Shah near Trimmu Barrage, District Jhang in Punjab. He also shared Financial condition and difficulties faced by project. He assured to the minister that project will be completed before ending of 2022. Provincial Minister Sardar Husnain assured the project team that he will perform his proactive role to eliminate the obstacles in the way of the project. The Provincial Minister of Energy directed to prepare a detailed letter about all the problems related to the project so that these problems can be solved on a priority basis. The provincial minister assured the project team that the doors of my office are always open for all. General Manager Afzal Ayub, Additional Secretary Companies Aslam Shahid, CFO Malik Mohsin, General Manager Technical Adnan Kashif and Hammad Ata Khan were present on this occasion.
