Mustung blast: death toll rises to 59


Quetta, Rawalpindi, Islamabad: More injured died in the blast in Mastung yesterday, after which the number of martyrs reached 59, the government announced 3 days of mourning in the province.

According to the spokesperson of Civil Hospital, Waseem Baig, seven more injured in the Mustang explosion died, 6 died in Civil Hospital and one injured died in B-C Complex, after which the total number of martyrs has increased to 59.

17 injured in the blast are undergoing treatment at Ghous Bakhsh Memorial Hospital, Mustang, while 25 injured have been discharged.

On the other hand, according to the police, a case of Mustang blast has been registered against unknown assailants in the CTD police station, in which the provisions of murder, attempted murder, terrorism and explosives act have been added. 3 days mourning has been announced. In this regard, there are flag tunnels on government buildings. It should be clear that at least 53 people including police officers and personnel were killed as a result of suicide blasts in the procession of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal and 2 explosions in the limits of Dawaba police station in Hangu city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
