Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman says minorities enjoy equal rights in the country.
He stated this while addressing a ceremony in connection with National Day of Minorities at Governor House in Lahore today.
He said that PML-N government has provided equal opportunities to minorities for progress and development. He said that PML-N government appointment Kamran Michael as first Finance Minister from minority and given important ministeris to minorities.
He lauded service of minorities that rendered sacrifices in 1965 and 1971 war.
